Get into the Holiday Spirit
Get in the holiday spirit with some holiday spirits! I will be sharing a festive list of holiday inspired drinks for you to enjoy. Before I start, let’s remember to drink responsibly and only if you’re 21+ gals and guys because I need you to stay extra safe this holiday season!
Okay, now we’re ready! Let’s get started.
Boozy Gingerbread Hot Chocolate
“Ginger, cinnamon and allspice bring a gingerbread flavor to this hot chocolate. Intense Dutch-process cocoa powder balances the spices, and chopped milk chocolate is mixed in at the end for a creamy, rich texture.” (Food Network)

Make It Boozy:
4 oz Bourbon
2 oz Frangelico
2 oz Irish cream
A fun holiday twist on a cult favorite––the Margarita! Tequila lovers (like me), this one’s for you!
RECIPE COURTESY OF DELISH
Try out this coconut and lime flavored margarita this season to really bring the holiday fiesta to your house. I am lucky enough to live in sunny Southern California and this is the White Christmas I need.
This drink definitely made the short list for this year!
Put the merry into your holiday and get figgy with it with this rosemary + fig infused holiday mule!
RECIPE COURTESY OF BRANDI MILLOY
These beautiful + luxe looking mules are the perfect drink for escaping the reality of your Quarantine Christmas. Dress your holiday mule up with a traditional copper mug* to really put this glam number over the edge.
Let’s pretend we’re at a luxurious Christmas Gala, shall we?
Maple Cranberry Bourbon Cocktail
“The flavor combination is so good. Maple + cranberries + bourbon = cold-weather cocktail perfection. The garnishes also make this libation pretty for the holidays.” (Inspired by Charm)

For my snow babes out there, this one’s for you! I hunted down a recipe for you that is sure to give you the warm and fuzzies this holiday season because bourbon packs a punch! Enjoy this after a day on the slopes as you cozy up near a fire.
P.S. I’m obsessed with the beautiful glasses in this photo so I found similar glasses* with a super cute copper finish on the bottom.
“Warm and woodsy, with a little prosecco sparkle and a splash of citrusy brightness, this cardamom & grapefruit gin fizz cocktail recipe is winter sunshine in a glass.” (The Modern Proper)
RECIPE COURTESY OF THE MODERN PROPER
This holiday season opt for rose colored glasses (and I don’t mean the glasses you wear on your face) with the Grapefruit Cardamom Gin Fizz.
I mean, how beautiful is this drink! 10/10 based on aesthetic alone. Again, I’m obsessed with the glassware*.
Cranberry Mojitos automatically make me think of a Tropical Christmas Getaway. This cranberry mojito makes you feel like you’re traveling to a sunny beach somewhere for the Holidays (even if we have to stay home this year).
RECIPE COURTESY OF DELISH
I love a good mojito and this drink sounds absolutely delightful.
Hopefully the next time I have good mojito like this one, it really is sitting on beach somewhere!
“Sparkling and festive, this brandy-spiked ruby-red holiday sangria recipe brims with yuletide cheer” (The Modern Proper).
RECIPE COURTESY OF THE MODERN PROPER
Holiday Sangria––yes, please! Honestly, I’ll take any of these drinks any time of year, especially a yummy sangria.
Sip on this sweet treat while you daydream about making a trip to the Spanish coast (because I sure will be).
P.S. This photo is absolutely beautiful and deserves a full page spread in a foodie magazine.
“Luxuriously rich and creamy, this whiskey-spiked homemade Irish cream is perfect for gifting, and for warming your loved ones from the inside out” (The Modern Proper).
RECIPE COURTESY OF THE MODERN PROPER
Socially acceptable spiked dessert in liquid form...count me in! Here’s yet another recipe from The Modern Proper because they are killing the game with these amazing recipes.
Enjoy this rich, creamy drink after you’ve finished up with your Christmas dinner for a cozy end to your evening.
“The only thing you need in your hand while you open presents” (Delish). Maybe the only thing you need in your hand on Christmas, period.
RECIPE COURTESY OF DELISH
For those of you who like a quick and easy recipe, this one’s for you! This recipe will take you 5 minutes tops (3 if you’re speedily throwing it together at home on Christmas morning).
It also has tons of fruit in it, so it counts toward your balanced holiday breakfast. That’s how it works, isn’t it?
Vodka Cranberry Punch with Apple Cider Ice Cubes
“This is dangerously easy and delicious. Not only does it taste sweet and spicy, but just look at it! Those colors! The ruby-red cranberries cover the surface, and the apple cider cubes are the best additions that amp up the flavor” (The Food Network).
RECIPE COURTESY OF JESSICA MERCHANT
If you love a good Vodka-Cranberry, this is the recipe for you. It’s a fun and festive twist on a Vodka Cranberry, just add a little spice to the mix.
If you said this in the voice from the TikTok song, we’re automatically friends now! Cheers.
These are the top 10 recipes that are on my personal list this holiday season. I hope these help you get into the holiday spirit! Although this is a list of boozy holiday drinks, remember you can also make them without alcohol for a fun holiday mocktail.
