3 EASY Ways to Elevate your Photos using Canva
The Trippy Inception Look
This is such an easy way to elevate your photos by giving them more dimension.
Step 1: Upload your Photo
Step 2: Look Up ‘Modern Simple Minimalist Frames’ in the Canva Search Bar + Choose your desired frame
Step 3: Copy + Paste your frame 3 times
Step 4: Resize your frames to uniform sizes + reorder the frames from largest to smallest size (I made my frames 2.2, 2.4, 2.6 in)
Step 5: Use or Post your new look as desired!
Pro Tip: You can add more frames for your desired look, but make sure it’s an odd number of frames (3, 5, etc.)–– it makes designs + pictures look more attractive!
2. The Retro Inspired Edit
Elevate your photo by adding some color!
Step 1: Upload your Photo
Step 2: Drag + Drop your photo onto your canvas
Step 3: Click on your photo, then click on the Effects tab that pops up on the the left corner of your design area
Step 4: Click on Background Remover to isolate the main subject of your photo–– resize if you need to.
Step 5: Copy + Paste your new isolated photo to start the layered look
Step 6: Click on Effects AGAIN + go to Duotone
Step 7: Select your preferred colors + adjust the layer order of your colored layers to make the desired effect
Pro Tip: Keep your image size the same, just nudge the photo in the direction you want using the arrow keys + repeat (just double the number of nudges) for the next layer
